The District Consultation Beijing +20 was held successfully in Bhaktapur on June 19^th 2014 through support of CAC-Nepal and the participants from various levels; government, non-government, local agencies and the media of Bhaktapur District. The program lasted a half day. During the program, all the participants were introduced about Beijing +20 review; the activities and the purpose of holding this consultation. The 12 critical areas of concern were briefly clarified to the participants by Ms. Tulasa Lata Amatya, Executive Director of CAC-Nepal.

Followed by a group work by the participants, in which the status of women and girls in Nepal and related issues were addressed. The representative from DACC Bhaktapur remarked to be thankful for learning about Beijing +20 review and the useful inputs for the betterment of the condition of women and girls in Nepal.
