CAC-Nepal’s ongoing research are:
- Understanding the community attitudes and knowledge towards lesbian, gay and bisexual people and exploring the experiences of the homosexuals in Nepal: A qualitative study in collaboration with Kathmandu Medical College Teaching Hospital (KMCTH) and Linnæus University, Kalmar, Sweden from March 2020 till the date
- Assess the feasibility and acceptability of mHealth intervention of a mHealth HIV/STI prevention and treatment intervention for Female Sex Workers (FSW) in Nepal in collaboration with Missouri University from February 2022 till the date.
CAC-Nepal has conducted and published research and study on the following issues such as:

- Baseline survey on trafficking in 5 VDC’s of Nuwakot in 2004
- Situation Analysis of Women Police Cells in Kathmandu Valley in 2008
- Collaborative Research Planning Workshop on Women and Girls Trafficking in Nepal supported by Linnaeus University, Sweden.
