After running Voluntary Counseling and Testing (VCT) services for nearly 2 years, CAC-N has just successfully formed a PLH Support Group (People living with HIV) in the Bhaktapur District. The support groups aims to empower PLH's and other affected people. The group currently has 4 members, 3 men and 1 woman. It is called "Easy Plus Group" and is run by PLH's, for PLH's and to PLH's. CAC-Nepal is very proud to form this group and offers them encouragement and developement support. If anyone would like to offer support or get involved then please contact CAC-Nepal. We are also pleased to announce that since October 2006, our latest reports show that we have worked with over 3,700 new female sex workers as part of our ASHA programme, of which over 1,900 have availed of our medical services.
