Street Dramas

Since 2003 we have been running street dramas to highlight various issues effecting the women of Nepal. Our street dramas have taken place throughout the Kathmandu Valley and have covered topics such as HIVvand AIDS, child labour, trafficking and womens rights. In 2006, we took part in a joint initiative between Gurukul Theatre Company and VSO Nepal for a 10 day workshop on Theatre for Development. We then introduced theatre techniques in our monthly interations meetings with our target groups as a tool for highlighting various issues through the medium of drama.
