CAC-Nepal has been diligently implementing the project titled “Reducing Sexual Exploitation and Other Forms of Child Labor Through Education” since 2021, with the invaluable support of Stichting Bungkulung. This initiative is aimed at achieving the following objectives:

1. Increasing Enrollment in Formal Schools: We prioritize ensuring access to education for every child by actively promoting and facilitating enrollment in formal school systems.
2. Reducing Dropout Rates: Recognizing the challenges faced by marginalized children, we provide a nurturing and child-friendly environment within government schools in the Kathmandu valley to effectively reduce dropout rates.
3. Providing Financial Support: Many children from marginalized groups lack the necessary financial means to pursue education. To address this issue, we offer financial assistance, thereby enabling these children to continue their education without financial constraints.

Moreover, our project is committed to addressing deep-rooted intersecting inequalities and harmful practices prevalent in our society. By addressing these root causes, we aim to create sustainable and lasting change for the benefit of all children.

At CAC-Nepal, we firmly believe in the fundamental right to education for every child, regardless of their socio-economic background. Through our efforts, we strive to empower children with the tools and opportunities they need to build a brighter future for themselves and their communities.
