FWLD

Forum for Women, Law and Development (FWLD) is an autonomous, non-profit, non-governmental Nepali organization established on May 29, 1995 to work for the protection, promotion and enjoyment of women's human rights in order to eliminate all forms of discrimination. The Forum uses law as an instrument to ensure women's, children's and minority's rights. FWLD focuses on the eradication of the discriminatory laws against women. Based in Kathmandu, it works for the respect of women, the socially excluded groups, reformation of discriminatory laws and propose for the creation of significant laws empowering women.
