VSO

Voluntary Services Overseas (VSO) Volunteers have been working in the areas of Education, Good Governance and HIV and AIDS in Nepal for over 40 years. VSO's work supports many of the most disadvantaged groups in Nepal including women, Dalits, ethnic groups, and disabled people. These groups are often excluded in government development policies, decision-making processes, mainstream society, and may be denied access to basic public services. These groups often face discrimination and social exclusion which VSO aims to allievate through its goal of inclusion and participation for all. VSO Volunters work in collaboration and partnership with Nepali NGO's to share skills and offer support in the development of these organisations.
