FHI

Family Health International (FHI) has been working in Nepal since 1994 on HIV and AIDS prevention, care and support programmes. Central to FHI's work has been partnerships. Over the past decade FHI has worked in partnership with numerous agencies to implement activities which aim to control the spread of HIV and AIDS, promote healthier behaviours and provide care for those affected. Since the beginning, one of FHI's major objectives has been to build national and local capacity by strengthening the human resources and organisational development of their partners, provide technical assistance for institutional development and to provide funding for HIV and AIDS Programmes.
